Your Guide and Host, Mark Lamberth, has been Fly Fishing for 33 years, Guiding for 12 years and has fished the Southern Appalachians for 30 years. He has also fished all over the United States.

He has fished both fresh and salt water and is very experienced in pursuits of all types of fish.

TGIF2 is a fly fishing specialty guiding service located in the foothills, just 10 minutes from the Smoky Mountains and on the gateway to some fabulous Smoky Mountain fly fishing.

While guiding for over 33 years I have specialized in teaching all aspects of fly fishing, fly tying and aquatic entomology.

I'm fully stocked with over 1,300 fly patterns, a large fly inventory (including rental equipment, and lots of local fly fishing information). We have everything for the discriminating fly fisher!

From the complexities of fooling large trout on tiny nymphs to dry-fly fishing under the most challenging of conditions, I'll/we'll introduce you to the heart of fly fishing.

Our trips start at $275 for 1-2 people for a full day of fishing with a meal. We also offer many other trip packages and we can customize any trip to meet your needs. As a fly fishing guide for over 33 years, professional, experienced and love to see you catch fish. As your guide I do not fish. Also as your guide I to love to teach and instruct.
